I can't quite decide which is the BEST photo I've ever taken, but I've always been partial to this one. Its a melianthus plant I saw at the Tacoma Zoo. While everyone else was ogling the animals, I was waist-deep in the flower bed, entranced by the intersting patterns the newly emerging leaves made. I've always like the abstract nature of this photo, and while I shot it in color, I think it is more strongly graphic in b/w.
I love this photo!
ReplyDeleteI love this photo! I was looking at the photo gallery on Gardening Gone Wild, and, were I the judge, I'd choose yours. It's the most artistic, more about pattern and form than the plant. I think you made the right choice.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the compliments ladies!
