  3. Lovely area and the BES sure light up the area. Guess I should have added some, but no room left.

  9. Finally we enter this marvelous season! Pictures you take are always stunning. What is that white plume on the right? Pennisetum macrourum? Coz I have it too but mine ain't so white! It's rather weedy but lovely.

  10. The quality of that golden light reminds me of the Outsiders - and a quote my daughter brings up all the time.

    Nature's first green is gold
    Her hardest hue to hold.
    Her early leaf's a flower;
    But only so an hour.
    Then leaf subsides to leaf.
    So Eden sank to grief,
    So dawn goes down to day.
    Nothing gold can stay.

  11. Have you ever thought about doing a seminar on garden photography? It may be your only defense against the envy that threatens to engulf you.

  12. Perfect! I wont steal your plants, but I would like to add this picture on my (Your Gardens) page where I display pictures of gardeners who blog and also add a link to their site. If you are not happy with this I will remove it right away.

    What are the stately pinkish-flowered plants that show against the house wall?
