Boots doesn't look particularly scary but his expression is that of a serious guard cat - all zombies and goblins should beware before they enter his garden.
Scott Am I overlooking the archive section on your blog? Is there another way to view earlier posts other than the Older Post tab (I hate reading "backwards")? Glad I discovered your blog and love your writing and photography! Please give Boots a hug for me... David (Vancouver, BC)
Hi David! Yes…if you look to the right, there is that list of other blogs I read…if you scroll all the way to the bottom of those there is a "Blog Archive' sidebar. Maybe I should move that up to the top, huh?
Hey Scott PLEASE tell me you just moved the Blog Archive to ABOVE the Blogs I Luv as I hope I didn't overlooked that earlier! Thanks for your prompt reply.

ReplyDeleteSuch a handsome boy. Happy Halloween!
ReplyDeleteHe is! I hope you and Greg have a good one :-)
ReplyDeleteHahaha...so true...he's mostly a terror for rats and mice ;-)
ReplyDeleteHappy Halloween Scott! Boots looks quite regal sitting there. With his coloring he also looks a bit like a pumpkin.
ReplyDeleteAlways wanted a tabby. Our last cat was all black and a sociopath.
ReplyDeleteBoth Boots and the sumac are perfect for Halloween.
ReplyDeleteYou gotta love Boots. What a handsome critter. I'm late to the party, as usual so I'll just say, Happy November Scott! :)
ReplyDeleteLovely! Wouldn't you love to know what he's thinking?
ReplyDeleteI loyally declare Black Sami the perfect Halloween cat, but Boots is a close (by a whisker) second.
ReplyDeletewhat's that beautiful yellow plant in the upper left? I love it!!

He is our sweet little pumpkin, Alison ;-)
ReplyDeleteOh no! I love most all cats…and would love a black cat someday…but there is something about orange tabbies…they almost always seem very good-natured!
ReplyDeleteAgreed…they are a smashing duo, aren't they!
ReplyDeleteHappy November to you too, Grace!
ReplyDeleteHa…I would, indeed!
ReplyDeleteThey can be a team, Ricki ;-)
ReplyDeleteIt's 'Tiger Eye' Sumac, Jen…a great small shrub!
