Yes, it doesn't usually get terribly hot...but it is VERY dry and I do irrigate the sloping flower beds and backyard about once a week. The hell-strips, however, are on their own. Seems like it would be a nice plant and blooms really well but without the right conditions it becomes a floppy, mildewed mess. Love the panicum! perfect replacement.
