Hello October!

OctoberSunrise
Geranium 'Rozanne' buds greet the first October sunrise of the year.

I don't care what day is the "technical" first day of fall, for me, October 1st has always been when fall starts. My favorite season is here, and yet, I've never been busier, both at home and at work...I hope to at least catch a few moments to enjoy the season before it's over.

  1. Dear Scott, I love all the Hardy Geraniums. They are such stalwarts of the garden borders, never failing to give good value.

Your image is delightfully autumnal and has captured the mistiness of the season perfectly.

  3. Edith: Thanks!
James: Hahaha...must have been my years growing up on the farm...a lot of days I'm up before sunrise...although I'm pretty sluggish until I've had my coffee :-)

  5. Scott,
You have some great autumn shots. That hummer with 'Purple Majesty' is remarkable. My camera skills need some serious honing!
