Very pretty! I thought it was a fig when I first saw it.
That's some pretty amazing foliage! And you have a stock tank...in your driveway! I knew I liked you.
You are smart to confine this plant to a stock tank. It has a tendency to travel.
Beautiful foliage on that Plume Poppy! :)
Thanks everyone...it does look a little fig-like, doesn't it! I am all about the stock tank...I really love how they look in a garden. I've seen a lot of people talking about it's desire to spread rampantly...and in a big garden, I'd probably put it somewhere I wanted that...but in my dinky space...it needs a little corralling :-)
My friend who has the knotweed also gave me a start of this that I planted, then read up on, and chickened out and pulled. I just don't have room for big plants that spread. It does have nice looking foliage.
You are wise to be cautious, Sue...I was worried about the same thing, which is why I decided to plant it in the container instead of directly in the garden. I'm like you, space is at such a premium, I don't want a thug taking over :-)
